About Agari (Fortra)

Agari is now marketed as Fortra's Agari DMARC Protection, part of Fortra's broader email security portfolio following its acquisition from HelpSystems in 2021. The product targets Global 2000 enterprises and is positioned as an enterprise-grade email security suite — not a standalone DMARC monitoring tool. It ships alongside Fortra's Agari Brand Protection product and the overarching Fortra Email Security umbrella.

On the capability side, Agari's standout strength is its advanced threat intelligence: real-time brand abuse monitoring, look-alike domain detection, and integration with SIEM/SOAR platforms including Azure Sentinel and Cisco Talos. For organizations whose primary concern is sophisticated phishing campaigns and brand impersonation at scale, this is a genuine differentiator over basic DMARC-reporting tools.
